Hemel Garden Communities SPDs

HGC will be working on two Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) during 2025. SPDs provide more detailed planning guidance to supplement what is in the development plan. They are part of the local planning framework. 

The draft policies in the Dacorum and St Albans Local Plans highlight two Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) for Hemel Garden Communities:

•  HGC Framework and Transformation Plan SPD (public consultation expected in 2026)
• Stewardship & Placemaking SPD (public consultation expected in 2026)
